It is rather entertaining. I get the android beta about the same time as apple users get the live version. I can then watch the apple comments and check them on my samsung if applicable. Still no widgets for android.
Start/stop should work. I've had 5.11 on the eap program for a week and checked mine when you mentioned it on the IOS thread. I also have not been able to replicate the charge scheduling and reporting issues that the IOS users have mentioned.
I have found the mobile charger to be notoriously unreliable. I only used it for a couple of weeks when I first got my lightning and it worked maybe 30% of the times I plugged into it. Never up and died, but frequently claimed the input current was faulty. I replaced it with a Grizzl-e smart...
In reference to the title of this thread, my lightning has been to the dealer once in 16000 miles.
That was at 10000 miles for the recommended tire rotation and washer fluid fill.
For my two cents, I'd say keep the adapters. If NACS truly becomes the industry standard for charging, EA, Chargepoint, and all the other charging providers will switch their plugs to the NACS standard. If they do this, it may become hard to find a charging station with CCS plugs.
I think Ford is taking outside temps into consideration on their GOM. I have seen this as well and am using L2 chargers on both ends. The charger at home is in a heated garage and my farm chargers are outdoors. I use about 3% to get between sites and with it being cold, usually plug in. I...
If I were to roll the clock back a year, I would still get a Lightning Lariat ER. The only change I would make is to lease for more miles. When I leased, I looked at the driving trends of EVs vs ICEs and leased on the low end of what I drive each year. Turns out I am going to hit the...
Brons2 is not incorrect. I also leased and my CP99D says my rebate was transferred to the dealer. In actuality, it was transferred to the leaseholder.
When I did the lease, there was a form declaring how the rebate was to be claimed and it stipulated that as a lease, any rebate eligibility...
I think we will eventually get BC 1.4.
In 9 or 10 years!
Once the technology matures, NHTSA will see it as a safety feature. They will view it as ChatGPT driving 500 million vehicles as being safer than 500 million people driving 500 million vehicles.
When automated self drive fully...
Your problem appears to be quite common.
There are other threads on this forum dealing with broken latch pins. If you visit those threads, they have links to threads on the Mach-E forum and also reference BMW.
There are others but this one should put you on the right path...
I would be game for a Snow Mode. If Ford were to do so, I hope they make so that it can tell the difference between ice, snow, and mud. Traction control has probably gotten me in more trouble in the last 20 years than it has gotten me out of. Turn the traction control OFF when busting a drift...
I do not worry very hard about preconditioning, A large part of my winter driving is 30 to 70 miles between stops and no place to plug in at my destination. This means I am going to be operating on cold batteries for a fair portion of the day. Rather than worry about, I just deal with it.
On...
The disaster declaration covers all of Los Angeles county.
But, I do agree that ford should allow affected owners to charge wherever they are. Many have evacuated to outside the LA area.
