Does the wiring diagram label the wires? I know that from another post, the projector LEDs interact with a few different modules.

Another option is to find a projector...
The 'base model' is not XLT, it's whatever they decide to call the 'commercial-oriented' model. XLT starts at $52,974, so far, they don't seem to think it's that important to even have a fake picture of the base model:
So who knows if the $39,974.991/3¢ model will even be accessible for the...
Once again, the same limitations on every current EV is going to inform how Ford decides to equip the Lightning.
Li-ion battery energy densities are notably deficient compared with gasoline. The gasoline engine has the advantage of only needing to carry 1/15th of the needed products of...
They're already working on it. It's more like a 20 hour charge with a standard home charger. Kind of like filling up a pool with a garden hose. Depending on what kind of electrical service one has, you can upgrade to higher amp charger for the 8 hour charge. Then there's going to be chargers for...
I wanted to know what size the lug nuts were on the 2021 F-150, since it is my first Ford truck. I didn't want to take the whole socket set out to swap out some keyed lug nuts. I searched on DuckDuckGo and Google, up popped a post from this very forum...
For those like myself that grew up in complete ignorance of the metric system, 400 liters is around 14 cubic feet or 100 gallons of volume.
Emphasis should be placed on: "• These figures are just targets right now"
If their price and range goals are on target, I will be very impressed! Compare...
It won't be hard to surpass the OG Lightning's performance figures:

It was the second Lightning that had 380HP:

Lowered with AWD and an IRS would be the best solution for the limitations of converting a truck design into full EV and still have decent range and payload, as well as retain the right to be called a worthy successor to what is supposed to be a performance vehicle.
I wonder though if the...
Ford bolts their rear truck windows in place and it's a bit more of a chore than the ones that are set in place like windshields. Also, I do see mention of the two piece sliders randomly shattering for no known reason. Either temperature change or unseen defects, possibly improperly torqued...
A bunch of cats have been reported stolen on Nextdoor in my neighborhood as well. So I decided to look into it.
Most are using cordless Sawzalls but some are using grinders with cut-off wheels and still others, pipe cutters.
There's several concepts, one is to cage the so it takes longer...
It would have been a nice option to just have fixed tie-downs in place of the goofy box-link plates.
There is a company making them for a pretty penny.
Then others have discovered e-track hardware fits with some play
Parts.Ford is really slow right now but there are two different 9.75" rear axles. I don't know if the Powerboost comes with the 3/4 float axle without Max Tow but it is a much more expensive axle compared with the other options.
Some options aren't prorated with others, for example, FX4 for my...
Mostly, pretty much every popular model EV or HEV uses lithium ion just like your phones. There are exceptions, like the ones using hydrogen fuel cells but those really aren't being sold to anyone other than leases and fleets with very limited private ownership because of almost nonexistent...
Solid state battery is just a fancy new way of saying it doesn't use a hydrocarbon based liquid electrolyte that most current lithium ion batteries use. Just about every new battery technology has the goal of greater energy density since that's the greatest drawback of EVs. The other goal is to...
It looks like the payload package automatically adds the trailer tow package and the 3.73 gears on the 2.7 but not the other way around. So as long as the sticker reads 2.7 payload package on the window sticker. You should be good.
To add to the confusion, you can also remove the rake by lowering the rear. Either by taking out the spacer block between the springs and rear axle to replace them with a thinner one, or with drop shackles that lower the rear by changing the leaf springs geometry.
I have zero experience in the matter, however, for previous generation trucks, there’s a ton of information and experience in their respective forums.
I believe that the software is available in a free trial version but you need a laptop and the required interfacing hardware.
I imagine that the springs will be fine when loaded, it’s just the nature of things. Especially since leaf springs also locate the axles on our trucks, there’s really not a whole lot that ford can do. If they ever go with coil springs, they can make them progressive but until then we just have...
