I (may have) run into a similar issue.
I purchased the A2Z NACS-CCS1 adapter (ie, the one you need for L3 charging), and then on a road trip the first time I tried to use it, was at a Tesla destination (L2) charger - and it would not work. I dont exactly remember the error messages I was...
Would be easier to heat it up at home & keep in a thermos. If you are going to rely on the power outlets to keep it warm, use the bed, not the frunk, which has a 175W limit (pretty low)
That limit was downgraded to 175W during an update this summer

If the camera screen automatically pops up when the proximity alarm goes off - there should be a soft button to disable to proximity alarm right there. It's the soft button in the lower-right hand corner of the screen in the photo here. Not sure how long it stays disabled for - I THINK it's the...
Ran into the same problem - I plugged in a crock pot that is rated at 275W (presumably on the "High" setting) for a short drive to a relative's house
My center console display gave me a message that my device exceed the 400W limit. This happened even after I reset and placed the crock pot on...
Man, I'm old enough to remember when "Made in Japan" or "Made in Taiwan" meant crappy quality.
I think we are seeing the same progression with the Chinese... unfortunately, they are geopolitical competitors as well.
Agreed - I have never noticed mine 'limiting' my speed, maybe because I never set cruising speed more than 10 mph over posted. But I have to option to go faster if I want & choose to. The tech _informs_ me, it does not limit me, which is what I want the tech to do.
You're not dumb, just new
There ARE no stupid questions (well, OK, yes there are, but this isn't one of them)
This is what this forum is for - I myself have certainly asked many basic questions
Welcome to Lightning ownership & the forum!
This reminds me of the Apple vs IBM environments in the 1990s, for personal computers
With an Apple you had much fewer options, but everything was truly "plug and play"
With an IBM (clone), you were guaranteed multiple phone calls to tech support to get your new dial-up modem to work so you...
I agree with all your comments, but this is not happening during remote start (or "climate preconditioning" as I think it properly is termed) - it's happening when I just do a "regular" start!
So previously I posted about the semi-hidden default in the FordPass app that would turn your seat heaters on if you used the climate pre-conditioning feature, even in hot weather.
Gremlins have now apparently infested my Lightning, or the truck wishes to just mess with me...
For the last few...
I'm doing an upcoming trip where I'm crossing a bit of a charger desert - only a single 62kW charger that I don't want to "rely" on... ABRP does not seem to recognize that there is a Tesla Supercharger in that same town.
On the supercharger map on Tesla's website, there is a supercharger that...
Tough topic - sure, there are reasons people may need to charge about 85-90%. But sometimes it's just arrogance / convenience
Only 1 working charger at a DCFC last week, my lightning was down to about 10% because the hotel's L2 chargers were not working (those chargers were the reason we picked...
That's right, it was the "Charge Port Actuator" - https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/electrify-america-fast-charger-not-connecting-post-27-resolution.16549/
