I also got a Valentine from Ford. Odd (but not that odd) update time is set to 1AM but driving for the 4th time today at 610pm and it flashed up on the sync screen it updated
I have the same question...but have had my truck way less time. Would it be hard to put a last checked date stamp in the sync settings? Then we would know the truck is working fine and we are just waiting for deployments to reach us...
Interesting thing I learned from this thread is I must...
I'm feeling nervous... Have taxes nearly done using freetaxusa. Will report back after filing. The dealership talked about providing the paperwork but I don't have a copy and it's not listed in the docs I have to submit with my return.
Ok. I'm used to home or industrial setting where the GFCI is looking for a difference in flow, no load = no trip. Did not realize our trucks were so fancy to monitor a connection. Would make troubleshooting harder but still do able.
Cool. It is a neutral switching load center. So as @Henry Ford said you might as well finish it.
I would start with turning all 8 breakers in the load center off and then switch over to truck power. If the GFCI trips then the problem is inside the transfer switch, likely the neutrals are not...
When I search for that model it takes me to a 22kw generator.
If the switch is not switching the ground from the building ground to the truck ground then most likely the solution would be to disconnect the ground wire from the truck. This is probably most easily done at the back of the inlet...
@Ford Motor Company ,
Why do you have to post it here? If you put this type of information in the manual in a useable format then we would not need it here. I'm glad you are getting the word out for the 2025 owners but...as a 2024 owner I find the manual annoying to navigate on the touch...
Hmm...would be interested in knowing if it will come to older models.
But also I like having different charge values for different locations, home charge to 60% because that will cover expected trips...then work charge to 90% because...free charging at work
I agree with the OP...it was a bit shocking to see how many kWh the truck takes.
It did not help that I took delivery 12-22-24 and immediately hopped on the highway...
Then seeing 1.5 and 1.6 (and 1.4 during recent 0F freeze) is not helping my anxiety... Preconditioning only seems to extend...
