  1. Ford App Doesn't Work - Resetting Modem & Pulling Fuse 32 Didn't Work - Out of Warranty

Do you have FORScan or any kind of code scanner to see what codes it is reporting now? We are going off of codes it reported 2 months ago. Ideally, FORScan would be best in case Jesse has some troubleshooting tips he can suggest to pin-point whether the TCU or the GWM is the culprit here.
  2. Ford App Doesn't Work - Resetting Modem & Pulling Fuse 32 Didn't Work - Out of Warranty

@jcarterpdx I can share the VIN with Jesse if you give me the green light. He knows this stuff way better than I do.
  3. Ford App Doesn't Work - Resetting Modem & Pulling Fuse 32 Didn't Work - Out of Warranty

Got your message. Code history is stored on the cloud for 60 days at a time. On 11/21, the truck reported these codes below and has not reported anything since. The BCM and CMR codes can be ignored as those are stored codes. However, that TCU code cites a component failure and the GWM codes...
  4. Ford App Doesn't Work - Resetting Modem & Pulling Fuse 32 Didn't Work - Out of Warranty

If the modem is truly not working, it will not be reporting any codes to the cloud I can see with the VIN, but message me the VIN and I can check to see if I see anything obvious. If it is not reporting codes to the cloud, you would need FORScan or a code scanner to post any codes it is...
  5. TCU (Telematics Control Unit) is frozen or locked due to the continent/region change USA to EU

To do this, it requires more than programming. From convos I have had with people much more knowledgeable than myself, the TCU needs to be converted from ESIM to SIM on a bench. I know a guy that does it, but he is not on this forum. I believe he is in Poland. You would need to remove the TCU...
  6. Truck slowing down on curved roads while using BlueCruise

Interesting. I also experienced the predicitve speed kicking in after I turned it off with the beta release that didn't have the seatbelt requirement. Maybe they fixed that for the official release.
  7. Truck slowing down on curved roads while using BlueCruise

That is predictive speed assist. It can be turned off in the driver assistance > cruise control menu. I have found that even if you turn it off, it still does it, but you can fully disable it with FORScan using the change @PJnc284 mentioned. Before BC 1.4, that value was a 0, but changing it to...
  8. Map Update

Do you know if this will this only come in via WiFi, or can it download through the modem?
  9. Android Auto gone

I did this to purposely uncheck wireless Android Auto; I only used a wired connection. I just got the OTA for SYnc 25094 yesterday, so I am not sure if this newer Sync version plays nicer with wireless phone projection. What I have noticed throughout the 4 years I have been dealing with Sync 4...
  10. Are 2022 models not getting any newer OTA updates?

Charge up the 12v battery before the OTA trigger expires and you have to wait for it to be resent. You are correct that 98% of updates come in through cellular. However, being connected to WiFi won't prevent updates from downloading. The vehicle will still download the files using the modem...
  11. Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

We used to be able to check this for people with the VIN, but due to some recent changes within Ford's cybersecurity measures, we can no longer do so. The screenshot you posted was with him using FDRS while plugged into his own vehicle.
  12. 12v battery issue that Ford Service can't solve

@4thedawgz Message me the VIN. I need to see why they're failing to provide any insight.
  13. Auto highbeams not working

You're welcome, but check out this post that was posted after mine as I posted the F150 instructions and not the Lightning: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/auto-highbeams-not-working.31090/post-612776
  14. Is the Software Updates menu always visible?

Something similar happened recently on the Mach E forum: https://www.macheforum.com/site/threads/software-update-page-missing-in-sync.51423/ I was not able to help him get it resolved, but I did find a setting in the APIM that has something to do with this. In his case, it was already enabled...
  15. Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

I am not sure if the use of FDRS is allowed in your country.
  16. Factory reset without Ford Pass

@Jesse-Infotainment Curious if you know a way to force a master reset?
  17. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

If you update with FDRS, it is still possible that you can an OTA for a module you already updated. In that case, the OTA will fail because the software is already installed.
  18. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

Glad you brought that up. I think it may be help to point the nose of the truck towards Dearborn, MI. Updating with FDRS has zero negative effect on being able to get future OTA's.
  19. Walk Away Lock is Rolling Out to 2022-2023 F-150 Lightning

We used to be able to help people do this easily, but thanks to Ford's awesome new cybersecurity system, all you can do is pray to the OTA gods and hope they shine their light upon thee. Or beg the dealer to do it and hope they do.
  20. Auto highbeams not working

Ah crap......I forgot what forum I was on. :ROFLMAO:
