  2. Tire size options for OEM wheels with 2" level?

Did you see this one? https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/star-white-lariat-before-and-after-with-2-5-level-kit-285-65r20-ko2-tires.1940/
  3. Tire size options for OEM wheels with 2" level?

I ordered mine 1/25, received my Vin on 2/8 with a build date of 2/26. My window sticker popped up this past Wednesday with a blend date of 2/22, so looks like the truck is on schedule. The Ford tracker has never shown the build date, but my dealer had the info. Keep checking...
  4. Tire size options for OEM wheels with 2" level?

My Platinum will be built this coming week and I am planning on the same setup. Photos of leveled trucks are not all that consolidated, but I would suggest starting in the Show and Tell Threads. Some guys post new threads with their builds and others post in the ā€˜color specific’ threads. As for...
  5. Tire size with a 2” level

Looking forward to seeing your trucks @satexas and @Wally27
  6. How to remove Partitioned Lockable Storage (rear seat storage tray)

On the Superduty the bolts are sunk down into the plastic. I assume the same will go for the F-150, so I would suggest using a threaded knob or t-screw to replace the bolt. This should make removal/replacement simple and easy.
  7. How to remove Partitioned Lockable Storage (rear seat storage tray)

I may never do it, either. But, it’s a big deal to some buyers who want to regain the flat load floor from time to time.
  8. Tire size with a 2” level

I have started to lean towards the 275/65-20. Just slightly taller than the 295, but stock width. More importantly, there are more choices of tire brands and they run $80-$100 per tire cheaper than their 295/60-20 counterpart.
  9. Factory tire size on Platinum? How big can you go without rubbing / cutting?

The truck will come with a 275/60-20 tire. From what I have read and based on what the majority of folks have switched to, a 295/60-20 should not be an issue. A 275/65-20 is going to be fractionally taller, but not as wide. You can use this site to play around with sizes and see alternates...
  10. How to remove Partitioned Lockable Storage (rear seat storage tray)

I posted this as a response to another thread, but thought it needed its own thread so it could be easily found. Removal is on an F-250, but you can see the storage box is nearly identical. Once removed your left with a flat carpeted floor.
  11. Powerboost lack of front 12V plug

I can only imagine what that discussion was like with the design team. I think it’s a bad call on Ford’s part. However, I own absolutely nothing that cannot be plugged into a USB port. I doubt I would ever use it. If I just have to have one, I can use the one in the back seat.
  12. Extreme towing test with 2021 F-150 PowerBoost @ 10% over capacity

I was going to stick with the stock Platinum wheels, but whoooo those wheel are FIRE! Love the whole package!
  13. F150 LIGHTNING

GM revived Hummer to make it an EV model (which is completely off-brand, by the way), so why not bring back Lightning. It is completely on-brand, if you ask me. It's an F-150, it is going to be powerful, it is electric (lightning), and just the name will drive folks into the dealership to see...
  14. New Rims with Factory Tires?

It was my understanding that the stock tire on a Platinum is the Pirelli Scorpion ATR. But, after reviewing some photos of Platinum wheels (which I even have posted in the past) it seems you are correct. My current truck rides rough, so even with the level and more aggressive tires, the ride...
  15. Bilsteins level for 2021 F-150?

I completely agree. As the 2021 is the 1st model year of the 14th Gen, if the dealer isn't going to agree to maintain the warranty, I can cruise comfortably stock until the warranty runs out.
  16. Bilsteins level for 2021 F-150?

I would do whatever the dealer tell you keeps your warranty intact. For that matter, if the dealer is going to do the work, certainly let them do it that way they want. If there is ever an issue, you can show that it was dealer installed and you took delivery like that. All that being said, my...
  17. Power Running Boards

I sounded like an old grumpy gus, which I am certainly not. I should have said: have static running boards on my Tacoma and I don't use them to get in and out. I may leave the power boards up, if I don't find them useful to me. While I have read good things about the boards on previous models...
  18. Power Running Boards

Unless I have issues climbing in, I am going to choose to leave mine up all the time. I ordered a Platinum, so no choice in the matter. I have heard that are very noisy and open and close often when your within proximity. I am out and around my truck a lot and I don't need that annoyance. If...
  19. Trying to Find White Lettering on BF Goodrich 20" Tires

BFG has teamed up with an external vendor to provide the white lettering. I think 20's are going to run you $150 or so. https://www.bfgoodrichtires.com/tire-lettering.html
  20. Off-road Tire Recommendations for 20" Sport Set-up?

As with any wheel, of any size, your not going to want to beat it like a rented mule. I would not have any reservations about the 20" wheel being tough enough for what it sounds like you are going to be doing with the truck. I would suggest going with an all-terrain tire of your choice, but in a...
