  1. Any benefit to occasional 100% charge?

That’s an odd statement when so many of us that use car scanner have seen that it does still balance the cells, maybe not fully as you anticipated but more the. The BMS normally is able to do. So yes, you should occasionally still balance the BMS and the cells.
  2. Any benefit to occasional 100% charge?

Yes, more range?? and that whole balancing the cells thing…..
  3. Sport Mode

I would love an eco mode. Maybe it would allow the weaker motor to freewheel once it was not needed for torque or hp. ?
  4. Tailgate Theft? WTH!!!

He also said it is a $10,000 tailgate…. Keep in mind a 2014 F-150 lock is not the same as our power actuation opening locks and motors of today. My 2017 Silverado had locks and when the truck was locked, there was not a way to open it. If you have a tonneau cover and keep your tailgate...
  5. Update: F-150 Lightning Fast Charging Tesla Adapters Start Shipping TODAY Per Ford!

You forgot to provide them the confirmation number….maybe with the ?? they will send it faster?? (if it works, dm me ?)??
  6. What is your SOH, Mileage, and how do you use your Battery?

I think one variable that is not being tracked well is ACCELERATION. I won’t say I baby mine, but I am definitely more driving as a recovering Prius driver over my youth with my 66 stang with the hipro 289. ???ā€ā™‚ļø
  7. Update: F-150 Lightning Fast Charging Tesla Adapters Start Shipping TODAY Per Ford!

I would suspect the list is broken up by fulfillment center. So either it is a start 1-5,000 here or regional. Regional would make the most sense if they use more then one fulfillment center.
  8. Ford Delays T3 Electric Truck Development and Updates EV & Hybrid Plans

Depending on the kids ages, might be cheaper to get the new family instead of the GMC ?ā€ā™‚ļø??
  9. Ford Delays T3 Electric Truck Development and Updates EV & Hybrid Plans

Slow to a point, but the charge curve flatness is amazing and is class leading. So yes the Cyberdookie can charge higher for a period it drops off. Even Out of Spec appreciates the steady charge rate. I love that I know on a road trip I will be fully topped off in around 40-45 minutes. Even...
  10. Ford Delays T3 Electric Truck Development and Updates EV & Hybrid Plans

Weird…..pretty sure I said this late last year and ā€œan insiderā€ said I was wrong…..?? Makes me even more happy I bought the Lightning since we won’t see T3 until model year 2027 now. Not planning on swapping that soon, but the extra year or two will make it tempting??
  11. 46kWh at 60Mph on flat highway... Normal ?

I guess I will be the one to ask….how much climate control were you using? Was the road dry or wet? Are you rocking snow shoes or highway shoes? All those will play a huge impact in your kW/mile.
  12. Ford EV Software and Customer Service Woes

Have you applied for the EAP? They allow ā€˜23 owners too ??
  13. Ford EV Software and Customer Service Woes

What issue? That you don’t like Fords planned software rollout? That it doesn’t meet your own personal expectations rather than the manufacturer’s? Seems like you need to just love the truck and worry about way way more important things in life like what to do or where to go now that the...
  14. Ford EV Software and Customer Service Woes

So if you have no problems then what’s the problem? Updates happen when Ford wants them to, not when you want them. If you wanted software you should have waited for the Cyberturd.
  15. What is your SOH, Mileage, and how do you use your Battery?

I am like Rick. I am at 10,XXX and at ? but at 7,000 it was showing 99.5% so somewhere around 99.74-99.76. I have DCFC when needed but less than a dozen times. The rest of the time is charged at 32 amp or less and usually to 80% with one a week 90-95% for a weekly commute then I charge once a...
  16. Ford EV Software and Customer Service Woes

The challenge with this approach is they are not updating ā€œeverythingā€. They are updating what their system is showing that is available. Software updates are a tricky little bugger and one I appreciate Fords offical approach as you get corresponding updates at the same time. Can you...
  17. Ford EV Software and Customer Service Woes

Nope I don’t agree not at all. As I said in my post I have had really great experiences with Ford since buying my Lightning. The marketing team @Ford Motor Company that monitors the forums, the general customer service people, the BEV team, the customer service rep that got my Ford CSP ordered...
  18. Ford EV Software and Customer Service Woes

Sounds like you have a lot of experiences that have jaded your current experience. To that, why keep buying Ford if you think they suck that badly? I too have had negative experiences, even with being denied a warranty claim for a wrinkled seat. But the customer service teams I have always...
