I updated to 11 a month or so ago, before the issue had surfaced. I'm not too worried, though. At the rate my truck (isn't) being built, Android 12 issues will be more relevant than Android 11 :ROFLMAO:
TFL published me!
If I thought they'd print my rant, I'd have added more polish :p

Ditto. High end systems target accuracy and dynamic range, not "bumping base." Without even having listened to the B&O Unleashed, I suspect it's vastly superior in those two dimensions than any system whose purpose is to annoy other motorists while deafening the driver. I'll get to listen for...
I agree that Garmin has excellent map data, and I understand the nature & expense of keeping map data up to date. But the OEM dash navs aren't Garmin. My rant is aimed at how the OEMs want to charge an ongoing fee for a product which is inferior to several free ones.
This is exactly what Android Auto and Apple Carplay do--they display apps from a mobile device on the in-dash screen. You can also launch the apps from the car's UI. Works fantastically well for music, podcasts, nav, etc. With wireless versions of both AA and Carplay, you don't even have to...
This is what Android Auto/Carplay is for. Use any nav app you like, from OnX (subscription, off-road oriented) to plain ol' Google Maps (free and best in class for paved roads). I can't imagine any OEM nav system coming close to to the functionality and polish of Google Maps, Waze (shows speed...
IMO, hardware switches for certain features (ProPower, bed & surround lights, auxillary add-ons) would be preferable to wading through sync to find all that stuff.
You can get a super duty with these pre-wired switches. I believe they were available (standard?) on the Raptor, too. They're not an option in the b&p for the the f150, though. Any idea whether you can buy the module and install it yourself? Might not be compatible with the shape of some part of...
FWIW, due to options, my truck is coming with 20" rims. I plan on buying a set of cheep steel wheels in either 17" or 18" diameter (17 if it will still fit over the brake calipers) and 33" K02s for off road travel and snow.
As others have said, a taller sidewall is more flexible and provides a...
It really depends on where you are and what you do. I'm in the southwest and tend to bounce around out in the desert. For me, rock rails and skid plates are high priority add-ons. If you'll only be on-highway, the extra weight won't be worth it.
The very first week with the Jeep (2014)...
As long as we're all sitting here waiting for factory production to catch up to our narrow (but intense) demand, let's see what cars you all do get to drive these days. I'll start:
'93 Toyota 4Runner
'14 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland
'14 Audi S5
