  1. Factory Wheels Blackout DIY Using Plastidip

I'm usually not a fan of gratuitous mods, but those look fantastic! Well done.
  2. Wireless Android Auto not working after latest Samsung update - Android 11 with One UI 3.0

I updated to 11 a month or so ago, before the issue had surfaced. I'm not too worried, though. At the rate my truck (isn't) being built, Android 12 issues will be more relevant than Android 11 :ROFLMAO:
  3. After market screen in a 2012 Ford F-150

Look into fuse taps. There should be fuses in panel that are both before and after the ignition in the electrical hierarchy.
  4. Jeep Grand Cherokee long-term review

TFL published me! If I thought they'd print my rant, I'd have added more polish :p https://tflcar.com/2021/01/tfl-owner-review-jeep-grand-cherokee-long-term/
  5. Disappointed in B&O Unleashed

Several people are reporting problems with Android Auto after a recent update. I think all the phones mentioned have been Samsung units. Is yours?
  6. Best bed dividers and organizers

Great tip re: the 2x8s! I'm going to grab some e-track attachments. I've read they fit the BoxLink holes perfectly.
  7. 2021 Camper Shell Fitment Warning (2020 to 2021 compatibility)

Please post updated photo when the new section arrives!
  8. Disappointed in B&O Unleashed

Ditto. High end systems target accuracy and dynamic range, not "bumping base." Without even having listened to the B&O Unleashed, I suspect it's vastly superior in those two dimensions than any system whose purpose is to annoy other motorists while deafening the driver. I'll get to listen for...
  9. Radar map -- a feature some don't know about in 2021 F-150

I agree that Garmin has excellent map data, and I understand the nature & expense of keeping map data up to date. But the OEM dash navs aren't Garmin. My rant is aimed at how the OEMs want to charge an ongoing fee for a product which is inferior to several free ones.
  10. Radar map -- a feature some don't know about in 2021 F-150

I doubt either Carplay or AA allow video content, for safety reasons ☹️
  11. Radar map -- a feature some don't know about in 2021 F-150

This is exactly what Android Auto and Apple Carplay do--they display apps from a mobile device on the in-dash screen. You can also launch the apps from the car's UI. Works fantastically well for music, podcasts, nav, etc. With wireless versions of both AA and Carplay, you don't even have to...
  12. Bluetooth remote display for Valentine V1

For any Valentine 1 fans out there, this is pretty dang cool. https://www.rdforum.org/threads/99410/
  13. Radar map -- a feature some don't know about in 2021 F-150

This is what Android Auto/Carplay is for. Use any nav app you like, from OnX (subscription, off-road oriented) to plain ol' Google Maps (free and best in class for paved roads). I can't imagine any OEM nav system coming close to to the functionality and polish of Google Maps, Waze (shows speed...
  14. Where are the upfitter switches?

IMO, hardware switches for certain features (ProPower, bed & surround lights, auxillary add-ons) would be preferable to wading through sync to find all that stuff.
  15. Where are the upfitter switches?

You can get a super duty with these pre-wired switches. I believe they were available (standard?) on the Raptor, too. They're not an option in the b&p for the the f150, though. Any idea whether you can buy the module and install it yourself? Might not be compatible with the shape of some part of...
  16. Demo: Stable vs wobbly towing

Shows the difference that weight placement can make. Happy New Year!
  17. What is the attraction to 20"+ rims?

FWIW, due to options, my truck is coming with 20" rims. I plan on buying a set of cheep steel wheels in either 17" or 18" diameter (17 if it will still fit over the brake calipers) and 33" K02s for off road travel and snow. As others have said, a taller sidewall is more flexible and provides a...
  18. Any Body Protection accessories recommended?

It really depends on where you are and what you do. I'm in the southwest and tend to bounce around out in the desert. For me, rock rails and skid plates are high priority add-ons. If you'll only be on-highway, the extra weight won't be worth it. The very first week with the Jeep (2014)...
  19. What are you driving in the mean time?

  20. What are you driving in the mean time?

As long as we're all sitting here waiting for factory production to catch up to our narrow (but intense) demand, let's see what cars you all do get to drive these days. I'll start: '93 Toyota 4Runner '14 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland '14 Audi S5
