I've had the Stellar for about a year. I've used it probably 10 times with no issue. Metal construction, very solid and works with the 80 amp level 2 destination chargers if you can find any. There's one up by my mountain house that I've used several times.
I posted about this over the summer. I had it in my Frunk lights. Was told there's a drain path behind there and the seals on the lights were bad so took in moisture. Make sure they check the Frunk push button switch when they replace them. Mine had gotten corroded from the water going...
Are these the Hankook Dynapro AT's? Mine are supposed to be kept at 36 psi per the tire and the door, I keep them at 40psi. I have over 20,000 miles on mine in the past year and are actually still in good shape, should get another 20k out of them if the wear keeps up.
Actually, SC's at Breezewood and New Stanton are right off the Turnpike and accessible to us. You do have to get off the turnpike but a hell of a lot better than our previous options.
That Bedford EA station is awful, and was the only option going from the Philadelphia area out to Pittsburgh. I've sat and waited an hour and a half to charge there due to one charger being down and one derated. The SC's along the turnpike are going to be a game changer.
Just got through...when it finally opens in connected services there was a section up top about getting the free adapter. Then when you click on that it takes you to a page with all your information and you have to 'reserve.' That page also crashed on me for 10 minutes until it finally went...
Yes, both were 350kw Terminals. Pretty sure all they have is 350KW terminals there actually (per EA app). Both times another vehicle was charging. Pretty sure it's a newer station because when I went up to Vermont this summer, it didn't come up as a charging option.
So I tend to agree they updated the charge curve. I was traveling up to Vermont Friday night and stopped at the EA off the NY Thruway in Kingston. I set the charger location in the GPS so I would be preconditioned. It was a 350kw charger. I arrived at 20% charge and charged to 81%. From 20%...
So in regards to the tailgate closing, I have a tailgate pad for my mountain bikes. If it isn't fully clear of the edge of the tailgate, the tailgate will close, and then open up about a 1/4"-1/2". It stays closed and won't fall open, but you will get the 'tailgate open' message and indicator...
I 'lurk' over on that forum and enjoy reading your posts. Very rational and fact based so it makes some of the people's head explode when you hit them with logic.
I like the idea of the cybertruck and the technology improvements they've made. Some cool engineering. But head to head against...
I like Kyle's videos too but I agree they are long! I've recently updated the playback speed to 125% on his videos and they're much better! I've tried 150%, but that gives me a bit of a headache.
I've noticed that as soon as the temp drops and I'm near 50%, power gets derated pretty quickly. It's 25 degrees out now, but I'm at 63% and it's derated to 87% right now. It will creep up as you drive it though too I feel like.
Per Ford's website (although it says only Mach-e). This is exactly how I did it in my truck and it works great.
What is the Electric Vehicle (EV) Routing feature in Apple Maps? (ford.com)
Although not the best written article, the author is pretty positive about the truck. The few complaints he has are valid and talked about often on these boards. Definitely not an 'anti-ev' review.
Thanks for the info. Seems pretty silly bug but surely not high on the priority list. You'd think it would default to the previous profile used. Good to know I'm not going nuts.
