Look into the lemon laws in your state. This is a major system of the truck that significantly affects the intended use of the vehicle. This is what the lemon laws are written for. The law may give you some leverage in dealing with Ford and the dealership. In my state you have to send a...
I just installed the husky liners on my 2022. I had to trim about 2 inches on the passenger side to fit around the CCD shocks. Easy to do, but hard once it’s up in the well with a hand trimmer. I ended up using an oscillating tool but was nervous the whole time about accidentally clipping the...
I predict several things will happen…
1)Production will catch up to demand - this will mostly cause used car values to drop
2) Interest rates will go up. This will cause more incentives to be in the form of low borrowing rates. This will further drive used car prices down because it means a...
I had exactly the same issue with my 2kw EB but it was intermittent. It seems to partially correlate with rain/ice/snow. Dealership looked at it and threw their arms in the air saying they couldn't replicate the problem and since it takes two weeks or more to get on the calendar with the...
Cool feature, I might have to give this one a try!
I was hoping that this mapping might reveal a timeout clock to keep the recirculate mode running longer or forever. I don’t see anything specific but there are a bunch of”air strategy” options. I suspect it’s buried in those somehow.
I have a feeling you don’t have enough digits in your numbers. My guess is that the reasonably equipped version of the cyber truck will top 100k pretty easily.
You can disable the Doo da Doo chime with
IPC 720-01-02 XXXX-X2XX
This gets rid of the startup chime but if you set this there doesn’t seem to be any way to disable the seat belt minder. Seems to be one or the other.
Does anyone know the mod to turn off the do do do chime when you turn on the ignition. I changed it on my old truck but damned if I can find the address again!
thanks!
FYI, I’m at the dealer now for my 21 to 22 swap. I found something they made standard which was previously an option. Ie something they gave us for free! The underseat storage is now standard on Lariat and above.
unfortunately that was actually an option that I didn’t want!
Yep, and those mid year changes can have financial impacts too. In 21, they removed adaptive steering as a standard feature on high trims and made it a $1k option. It’s a slimy way of increasing the cost of the vehicle without the general population realizing.
This can’t come quick enough! For some reason all of my fordpass Siri Shortcuts are failing after the recent fordpass problems! This app has been amazing and it’s even more fun to watch it evolve and get better so quickly! Thank you so much!
I just have an off the Home Depot shelf 2” drop on mine and it works for everything. If you are towing an RV or something really heavy you are going to have a weight distribution hitch.
I didn’t remove the bock in mine but did add the blue sumo springs and it makes a huge difference when I’m trailering. I didn’t install the spacer so under normal load the sumo springs don’t touch but if you remove the blocks they may touch all the time and the ride might stiffen up.
if there is a change it’s very very small. There has always been a bar across the top that used to have a phone button and the connectivity icons. There is just more on the bar now. Unfortunately it does appear that they removed the connected phone button which is a bummer because I use it all...
I too think it’s a bummer that some small features are disappearing while the price is going up. However, through my recent trips to the grocery store where bacon is $10 a lbs and virtually everything has gone up close to 10% and the overall inflation numbers are flirting with 7%, I certainly...
