  1. Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

You've already got the "-BBC" IPMA rev. What else are you looking for?
  2. Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

You are dead right. I have no idea why that tool thought your truck had a 12" screen. Glad you went with Plan B to fix it.
  3. ECG-24.2.5.6.3 | Software Update Experience (Gateway Module)

This can also be fixed using FORSCAN. Takes about 2 minutes, if you want to go that route. But back to my point, if the tech follows the TSB it shouldn't be necessary. They just need to run the APIM 360 View Configuration tool after updating the IPMA and everything will work out fine...
  4. Dreaded Service Vehicle Soon Error

Well I did pull your list this morning and that's why I mentioned the stuff they didn't do. I know you can do most of that stuff yourself but getting them to do the BCM so you'd have walk-away-locking would be a plus. You can't do that one.
  5. ECG-24.2.5.6.3 | Software Update Experience (Gateway Module)

With regard to the 360 view issue. If your IPMA update was applied by a tech and you have the shrunken 360 view then the tech didn't follow the instructions. See page 3 of the attached.
  6. Dreaded Service Vehicle Soon Error

It's too bad they didn't knock out the BCM and some of the other things while they had it in the shop. As you know it wouldn't have taken long. Would have been a nice gesture after having your truck gone for this long. That BCM in particular, since you can't do that one yourself.
  7. Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

Yeah if you’re no longer doing the testing that requires the tokens they apparently will keep you from updating. That’s no bueno.
  8. Bluecruise 1.4 officially being sent out to F150 & Lightnings starting today (12/11/24)!

Someone else’s. Just so I could compare software versions with what I did using FDRS. And they’re the same as the OTA versions.
  9. Bluecruise 1.4 officially being sent out to F150 & Lightnings starting today (12/11/24)!

Well yeah, but it's relevant. Turns out that the IPMA/PSCM we got a few days ago (FDRS users) is the same thing software-wise. So I guess I have BC 1.4 now...although nothing popped up to tell me that afterward. These are the OTA details for anybody who's interested.
  10. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Javier, I will go out and do that today. And thanks for pointing out where that was in the spreadsheet, I couldn't find it yesterday. I'm just hoping that when I do the change it will actually 'stick'. BTW while we're on the FORSCAN topic. For those of us who have the BC lane change feature...
  11. Two EV techs required by Ford?

That won't help and will fall on deaf ears. One of the largest dealers in our state refuses to work on EVs they didn't sell, and only reluctantly work on those. Apparently (this is anecdotal) the folks that were certified just let their certifications lapse...something to do with the juice not...
  12. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I did still have the glare-free icon on the IPC after the IPMA update. But the full glare-free 'effect' of the lights shutting off certain segments so as not to affect oncoming traffic stopped. When I checked the IPMA with FORSCAN I found that I had to change this value back to "9". 706-01-01...
  13. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I think I tried that already but have a go and see what happens.
  14. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I had the visual indication in the IPC but the adaptive lighting effect had stopped after I did the update. So I rechecked my settings and the one setting in the IPMA was the only thing I needed to put back.
  15. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

IPMA programming note: Ahem......., as a side note you will have to put back the asbuilt value for glare-free headlights (IPMA value only) after doing the IPMA update if you enabled that previously. Those who live in the US and have enabled this...youknowhatImean.
  16. Unable to charge, breaker trips

Call your service advisor and ask them to pull up your VIN in PTS and go to the Connected Vehicle page to check what your truck is reporting to the cloud. Pretty sure there will be clues there. In fact the reported info quite often is hyper-linked to a TSB or SSM that directly relates to the...
  17. 18" Michelin Defenders on 2022 Lightning Pro wheels

I have the Defenders on my ICE Expedition now and they are a good tire. I did replace the Primacy's I had at 15k with Toyo AT III EVs and they do make noise, but at least I'd be able to get some traction this winter if needed. It's good to know somebody is using the Defenders on the...
  18. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

So I did the IPMA and PSCM update and got rid of my GVMS warning for my APIM. Had a break in the rain this morning, so I got the gear out and did the IPMA/PSCM and then figured out why my APIM had the GVMS warning. One of the messages I hadn't seen before was this one right after selecting the...
  19. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I think this must have been released yesterday because at least one other member found this and did the update already. I had it pop up in my available list this morning, a new IPMA/PSCM combo (along with the "usual suspects", the ACM and RFA). It's raining here, and will do so for the next...
