  1. Setting preferred charge times ?

Is the inability to set these still just a display of how far Ford is from having a passible application software development division ? It's going to stay in the way of people adopting if what should be simple, sending an OTA message to a relay, and saving the setting persistently to a...
  2. Mobile Overlanding Charging station build with Victron this time

Starting the mobile conversion of our current off-grid charging system for our Lightning with the goal of WFC (work from campground) in the near future. Starlink standard kit and Roam subscription on the way. Fair warning, the trailer, if it happens at all, won't be purchased until next May...
  3. Charging to 100% but at only 12amps

Think it's OK for the battery to be charged to 100% if we’re only charging (from a solar array through an EG4 hybrid, split phase inverter) at only 12 amps? Hate to miss any free juice, and want to get to payoff as soon as is safe. We add in 10-20kW/day this way.

  6. Enphase releasing Bidirectional EV charger soon

Just saw this today. Not sure it will be compatible with the lightning or not. https://enphase.com/ev-chargers/bidirectional Unfortunately, we didn't know much about the solar system being installed, at our home, and we ended up with non-compatible micro-inverters. Looks like we'd need $1500...
