I read somewhere it was a headlight connector that may allow water inside. If true, it would seem like a minor problem. However, how the F.... does a 120 year old company not know how to design/make a waterproof connector?
No. I currently own 8,000 shares and I'm a long term bull. Just wondering if someone may know the reason for the stop sale. I don't think it's anything major because production is still under way.
Reuters just out with an article stating that Ford is stopping shipments of 2024 Lightnings due to an unspecified quality issue. Anyone know what it is?

It's not a lack of demand issue. The growth rate is simply not what was predicted and the competition in the space has arrived much faster. High interest rates and lowering gasoline prices are also not helping.
Why on Earth would you expect previously planned EV spending to remain the same when overall EV growth rates have slowed? It's clear projections from the entire industry have been too high.
Cybertruck owners will get lots of smiles and similar to those smiles owners with outrageously cambered hoopties receive. I can't imagine the laughs one would receive showing up on an actual construction job site. I would liken the hideous look of that thing to a modern day combination of a...
I wouldn't be surprised to see some type of "over the air" mileage reporting to the government. This would seem intrusive but would be a fair way to pay as you go.
I think most people currently buying EVs prefer to charge at home and avoid charging elsewhere altogether. Fleet owners will charge at their place of business. Next thing you know we'll have folks stating don't buy any EV and wait for solid state batteries.
Is the plant to be shut down for a few weeks to further improve production? I thought I read somewhere that in June and July there would be a brief retooling period.
Top rated auto analyst Adam Jonas of Morgan Stanley recently rode in a Cybertruck and felt it would be a niche vehicle with perhaps 50k annual sales. I can see why he might state that after seeing this interior coupled with the exterior. How big is the windshield wiper going to be on this thing?
Super Crew with an 8' bed would be much shorter than a traditional design. Anyone remember the half van half pickups? I loved the Little Red Wagon drag vehicle.
