I'm curious if there will be enough EVs available to meet their demand and their yearly increasing "new car sales limit". Sure, there's a bit over 3 years to work out the material shortages and supply chain issues, but will we really be able to ramp up that much that quickly, especially if more...
Isn't that going to depend on where you have your charger installed, which will vary by house? I'll have mine at the back of the garage near the driver's headlight, so plugging in the Lightning will mean I'll only need about 5 feet of cord. The reason for having the charger there is because my...
You're over engineering it. Just pull out the Duct Tape. It's also easy to remove when you're done. Although now that I think about it, the wide clear packing tape might be better. I'd have to try each to see which is better.
For those who prefer to read (like me), I watched it because it wasn't too long and made notes of the high level items:
* Price increase.
* Color changes: 3 removed, 2 added.
* Pro for fleets now has a "police" model.
* Pro tow tech now has "pro trailer hitch assist".
* Invites to those who...
I don't like the price increase either, but can I point out that inflation is over 9% this year. Also, the new prices are for the next year. So while I don't like them, I can understand the price increase.
And I'm greatly disappointed because Atlas Blue really is gone. :( It almost makes me want to to tell them to just deliver it with primer only and I'll take it in for a custom paint job somewhere so I can get something interesting. Of course, with the prices of the '23 model going up there goes...
So a video yesterday from the Town & Country guy in AL and he said Atlas Blue will still be available for MY23. I hope he's correct because that is what I wanted. Maybe we'll even find out tomorrow. :)
I've heard that Ford loses money on the Pro too and it doesn't makes sense to me either as companies who continually sell products at a loss don't stay in business. OTOH, I heard Jim Farley say in an interview recently (on Munro Live maybe?) that they are making money on the "Lightning line"...
I know where you're coming from on this as I've seen this argument stated before. From where I sit, this is a more complex problem.
First, the car makers only need "X level" of functionality to get a job done, e.g. open/close a window or whatever. When the chip they're using does that well and...
I've seen others quote the bill saying it takes affect after 12/31/22, so next year. Basically, what we have now is this year, the new bill is for next year. All subject to the whims of Congress who might change things before it's passed and signed.
