Absolutely not. It's actually the complete opposite. The mantra is ABC = Always Be Charging.
The vehicle will always be doing things in the background and if it's not plugged into the wall, it will use its own battery power creating a constant drain. When plugged into the wall, it uses the wall...
I love the Michelin defender platinum tires. Still have them on the truck after 30,000 miles and they still look brand new. They are very very quiet. They are heavy but honestly in an electric vehicle once it's rolling it's fine. Plus I have light weight wheels which offsets that completely...
Do not do spacers. The ride will suck, your alignment will always be out of spec, drive path will drift, and suspension components wear out quicker.
If you're going to do a front level, get a quality made kit like Eibach or Fox struts with longer UCAs.
Do not go cheap on this. You will regret...

Here you will find the ideal set up through multiple adjustments and a lot of trial and error. Look at the pics for how many threads are showing and I would definitely set your truck up this way.
This is exactly why the heat comes on in the climate control even if you're doing air conditioner. If the truck detects that the humidity is too high it will purposely run the heat to dry out the air duct. I started having problems when I turned it off because it uses a lot of power, but it's...
Hate to tell you but no one will pay that for these boat anchors.
There are much better looking, lighter, stronger wheels out there. Most people either toss these or sell cheap. Best
Of luck though.
Got about 10% with lighter wheels and lowering 2" in front, 4" in back. Went from 2.0->2.2/2.3. Much better around town. Even 3.5-4 depending on what and where
Multiple studies have shown that with this truck, considering it is a bit of a brick, is highly impacted by driving high speed. I've learned over the last 2.5 years that 70 miles an hour is the sweet spot. If you drive faster than that, you will drain your battery much faster and get worse...
Initially the Belltech shocks but that a horrible solution because a) you take all the softness out of the spring in the truck rides rough as shit and b) unacceptable camber, you will require camber plates.
went ICON and haven't looked back
If you were lowering the entire truck like with the icon kit, you don't need to ream your headlights. They have an adaptive system which works really well. If you lift the front then yes you'll need to re-the headlights.
Don't need to. At all. The cameras and sensors are designed to still be effective whether you have a large heavy rear load, a large heavy front load in the front, or any combination between. Lowering just puts them in a similar place
Yeah, it's easily done and whoever says it can't be done doesn't know what they're talking about, are inexperienced, or just plain lazy. Mine looks brand new after 46,000 miles and I do a lot of highway travel, it's virtually impervious to rocks and chips and temperature and sunlight and...
