Agree with some of the other comments upthread. We’re easily 20+ years away from EV matching or exceeding all the requirements of a petrol based vehicle. And for all the press EV gets now, it’s still a minuscule amount of car buyers. Not to mention there are some other alternatives which...
I applaud Ford for moving a real truck into EV territory, but I wouldn’t touch this model for 5+ years. There are so many kinks and new learnings they will find, it will be years before it’s truly ready. Saw the same thing happen with Tesla.
This. Use all their products including foam cannon. Vacuum and wheels first, followed by foam cannon and hand wash. Interior and wet tires are last things I do.
I live down south, so have the option to wash at home. I’m trying to avoid car washes at all costs, especially since I’ve moved from a white truck to a darker color. But having lived up north before, I understood they can be a necessity. Find one you trust and stick with it.

How fast can you get the protector up and running? I was a click away from buying one (live in DFW, hail all the time), but read several reviews that it takes way too long to set up and is a pain to store.
