I use this one. But I already had several other Ridgid tools so my choice was made for me. DeWalt is good too.

If you already have any cordless power tools from DeWalt or Makita, grab a cordless vac from the same manufacturer. The batteries are interchangeable.

I've found the Ryobi wet/dry cordless vac to work very well. And it works with all the other Ryobi 18-volt ONE+ batteries.

I have this one because I specifically wanted one with a brush head to lift up the Labrador retriever hair. Without a brush on the vac I might As well haul out the big vacuum. One downside is it won’t run plugged in. it has to charge before it can be used.
