According to this follow-up report, (specifically) the Lightning production will pause due to the fire.

Do you notice a change in the actual lock button on this replacement? I realize you're descibing more the PAAK/unlock capabilities.
I've never known if these are physical/tactile buttons or only touch sensitive...but my driver door seems different than the other ones on my truck. Intermittent...
Luvin' the nerd stuff!
Question: if you upgrade the IPC on a '23, to '24 as this example shows, does one then need to always follow (remember, going forward) the specific/if any '24 guidance on future IPC changes when performing a different mod (within that module)?
That seems pretty risky, overall. Not from damage underneath but longevity of the carpet, once cut.
How is the spacing between the top of the sub box and bottom of seat? If there's say 1'4" to spare, you may be able to just add the rear rubber mat/tray, and place sub box on top of that to avoid...
@daczone Pretty sure the setting is in the instrument cluster (steering wheel controls), not the center display.
Once I turned off the reminder, I havent touched it since. Guessing you either locked it when you got out or WAL is enabled? Alarm shouldn't go off if unlocked.

I believe the true answer is in your own "self-assessment" of software/reading/editing comprehension. Overall, I would categorize it as "high-basic to low-moderate".
The emphasis will always be on saving backups before editing and making sure the steps are precise before writing to modules...
Sounds like you're already aware but make sure the symbol looks just like this (left-side along with the "A" in green:

Thanks for sharing. Shout out to that tech for great notes (each color wire identified)...I hope that is a permanent fix for you. Nerd in me: I'd like to see a pic of that exact bracket/connector to peek at.
Grabbed a snapshot on that YT guy that removes his frunk tub. This is the passenger side, of course (you do not need to remove the plastic access liners/clips to do this).
May have to use channellocks for first turn but can then do by hand.
Clockwise = lowers
Counter-clockwise = raises...
Did you ever attempt this?
Open frunk, turn passenger side bump stop clockwise a few full turns and driver side, a few counter-clockwise half turns (based on what I'm seeing in pics).
Close frunk, inspect, then open, rinse and repeat with half-turns until horizontal alignment satisfies.
When...
I have a coilover lift, which is higher than leveling spacers/pucks alone...plus non-standard offest wheels & larger tires.
Both in town and on a recent 1,200 mile trip (BlueCruise used almost the whole way), I have had no issues with any of those things. My most recent 2-day FDRS license used...
At face value of the video, he handles this snippet well. I remain optimistic that the next gen of EVs by Ford will have better infotainment software and execution (compared to current Lightning/Mach-E).
With that said, the current gen software is just...ok (and launched behind the curve when...
