I don't see that it makes any business sense. Last time I checked Ford sells Pickup trucks. They aren't in the software business. Not saying they could not offer a software/hardware/firmware update to allow BC 1.5 or other, but that would be very new thing for Ford. They would rather offer new...
Could you tell if rebate had already been claimed on vehicle? In other words, someone bought truck and returned it, without getting title issued? Or someone figured out a scam to claim rebate, that got around the IRS checks.
I don't have any idea really, but a good conspiracy theory is always fun.
According to people that issue credentials for professional locksmith, yes you have to have a business license, and be insured before they will give you the credentials to do BCM updates.
There are a lot of people out there that believe the myths. Just yesterday went to two equipment trailer dealers. One of the salesman, asked about the Lightning. Then made statements about can't tow, no power, no range, high cost, and etc. One by one, I dispelled the lies with facts. Talked...
I used FDRS and updated APIM. This added the WAL toggle. Like you I toggle to "on", but it promptly returns to off. I assume the BCM needs updated as well. FDRS shows BCM update available, but I don't have credentials to load.
Just remember this is not an ice truck. This truck weighs what a F-250 SD 4x4 diesel. Make sure you get a load range to accommodate its weight and payload. Else tires will wear quick or overheat and fail.
Your calculations will not yield time at load. How many hours/days can I have power. You are correct to limit if using only 240v 30a outlet. What I don't remember is how much load can propower provide, 9.2 kw? 240Ă—30 a is 7.2kW. You might still have 2 kW at 120v available. Or 16a.
My samsung Galaxy flip 5 works well. Not tried anything else. I will say you have to have phone folded to use wireless charging. This due to physical locations of transmitt and receive antennas.
Engineer,
It time to do some Math. Look at current draw of products you want to use. Add up the total for 120v products and the current draw for 240v products. Now multiply 220v current draw by 2. Add this total to 120v current draw. This is complete current draw.
Take the amount of stored...
I did an APIM update via FDRS on Friday. Got caught up with other things and did not play with anything after, but just now checked. I have toggles for in-lane positioning, change lane assist, and toggle for WAL. that toggle was turned off. I have 23 Lariat ER.
I looked at a 23 Platinum from that dealer, Heller Ford (I think), 5k miles and a lemon buyback. They wanted more than I ended up paying for a new 23 Lariat. They wanted $64k, and with rebate, I paid less for the new Lariat. The Platinum had had several HV battery repairs, and scared me too.
