I don’t know where it’s documented but I can confirm that if you’re using pro power on board while the truck is turned off if your device is not drawing more than 90 W, it will turn off the pro power.
Those updates are out for 22-24, it’s just when you get the ota update. I didn’t want to wait so I went the fdrs route. I have a 24’ lariat and when I picked up my truck in feb my updates were way behind.
Pro power mode already exists. There is a toggle In pro power you have to toggle that allows pro power to work with truck off. It resets every time you turn truck back on. I used it on my last power outage. You have to make sure whatever your using has more than 90wats or it turns off.
I posted the part number a couple posts back. Here’s the part number. NL3Z-17A605-D
It’s pretty easy to do, but I did it differently than she did in the video. I took all the trim off so I couldn’t get all the push pens inserted otherwise you’re gonna have loose hose under some of the paneling...
I have a 24’ and it works great. What’s crazy about glare free you don’t even notice the high beams turning on. I think they gradually turn on as when I was testing them I didn’t even realize they were on and then I pushed the stock and low beams turned on. The technology on the headlights are...
I did the camera washer. You can just buy the oem hose and everything is plug in play. No modifications needed. Also it’s better to route wires through drivers side as there is no radio interference that way and a cleaner install as there is a rubber harness housing and you don’t see any wires
This would be great. Gm already has this on their trucks. When you switch from reverse to drive the front camera goes on then turns off once you reach a certain speed and if it detects a pedestrian near the front it will turn on front camera. Ford decides what we need not us lol. Maybe one day...
I was gonna do a write up but have been so busy. I swapped the black and red wires like the video said and then routed the wire through the rubber wire harness housing on the frunk lid that way all the wires are hidden. I had no interference with the radio as everything was done through drivers...
