My phone stays connected perfectly in my Tesla. My Lightning, disconnects, screen goes blank, sometimes I have to do the silly reset game. A couple of months ago the dealer told me, at the end of this quarter a big update is coming to fix that, yeah Right.
Your Tesla doesn't support CarPlay or Android Auto. So, it's an irrelevant comparison.

Ford, if your listening, I have cash in my pocket and its burning a big ol' hole. I know the newer MME's were offered a performance upgrade via OTA. Apparently the Lightning electric motors were used, allowing the flexibility for more power. Now that BC1.4 is out the way, you can work on this and add Supercharger stations in our native nav.

Edit: Add a real dog mode!:cool:

ProPower with truck off was one of the 2024 adds. The 22-23’s don’t have it unfortunately.
Need to get this OTA rolled out!

BC 1.4 would be nice. 2023 Lariat, haven’t seen it yet.
It seems like I only get updates when I’m driving around in the city somewhere. Usually around home I don’t drive around more than I need to. I go somewhere and then I park. today I decided to listen to some Metallica before I got out to get groceries at Walmart, and what do you know, the next thing it’s telling me is that the blue Cruise 1.4 update is ready to install. Guess I need to listen to more Metallica! (Or at least not just park and go.)

So it may not be the phone. It's probably CarPlay and Android Auto apps. that have the issue.
And Waze.

Someone posted that the 2025 MME has a Level 2 charge limiter. Hopefully this is a feature that can come to the Lightning. You may find yourself at a place where your mobile charger will draw more than the circuit allows tripping the breaker. Adjusting the AC charge rate is VERY handy and saves you money from buying an adjustable level 2 EVSE.

Pro power mode already exists. There is a toggle In pro power you have to toggle that allows pro power to work with truck off. It resets every time you turn truck back on. I used it on my last power outage. You have to make sure whatever your using has more than 90wats or it turns off.
Can someone document this 90W load requirement? I don't see it anywhere in the 2024 manual.

A 90W load is certainly not required when the truck is turned on in older model Lightnings.

I don’t know where it’s documented but I can confirm that if you’re using pro power on board while the truck is turned off if your device is not drawing more than 90 W, it will turn off the pro power.

I don’t know where it’s documented but I can confirm that if you’re using pro power on board while the truck is turned off if your device is not drawing more than 90 W, it will turn off the pro power.
