  1. Add physical climate controls to Lightning with big screen???

OK, getting back to how to actually do this ... CAN bus via Arduino or Raspberry-Pi seems like the way to go and is feasible for me. But I saw mention somewhere that Ford is now encrypting CAN bus messages? Is there a way to crack that?
  2. Add physical climate controls to Lightning with big screen???

Has anyone attempted this? It would eliminate my #1 pet peeve about the Lightning ('23 Lariat ER), which is sluggish climate controls via the big screen.
  3. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

The Icon Stage 4 Kit is $6000+
  4. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

For the Icon Stage 4 kit, my local shop estimated ~7h of work including alignment. How much money that works out to depends on the going rate in your locale ... around here (Vancouver, Canada) it's about 140 CAD (100 USD) per hour.
  5. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

    Thank you so much!!!
  6. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

Hey y'all, I bought the Icon Stage 4 kit and will have it installed next week! Anyone have tips/suggestions? @csukoh78, you mentioned torquing the camber kit to 200 lb/ft, any other thoughts?
  7. Fully draining then fully charging Lightning to calibrate BMS?

I'll be going on a road trip in the fall. In preparation, I'm curious if it is worthwhile/feasible to calibrate the BMS by fully draining and then fully charging the Lightning, in order to get more accurate SoC readings? In order to do so, I wouldn't drive it until reaching 0%. Rather, I'd...
  8. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

@F150ROD do I understand correctly that you did not lower your Lightning, but lifted it? i.e. you don't have actual, direct experience with the Eibach lowering kit? I'm concerned as I've come across some other reviews of the Eibach lowering kit as having a really rough ride.
  9. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

I don't anticipate doing real truck stuff ... main thing is I wanna add a lightweight camper on the back and still be able to fit into a parkade
  10. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

Thank you both @csukoh78 and @F150ROD for the detailed replies. So it sounds like an Eibach rear kit plus Icon camber kit will suffice for a 3" drop? Do I really need to do the front too?
  11. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

This is my first truck ever … what does that mean? Still learning about truck stuff.
  12. Lowering kits - 2025 options?

I'm starting to seriously explore a lowering kit. My main motivation is to get my vehicle to fit in a 6'7" parkade (I live in an apartment building), especially with a bed cap that is ~2" taller than the top of the cab which, in conjunction with the significant rake, results in a total height of...
  13. cone seat lug nuts - is no-bulge OK?

I bought a McGard lug nut kit but didn't realize that they are the no-bulge type. The difference is less contact area (thus higher contact pressure?) with the wheel. I have OEM wheels and don't plan to change them. P/N 84638...
  14. Poll: Do you use PAAK or Key fob for daily use?

I prefer the fob because I can reach into my pocket and open the frunk or tailgate just by feel, without pulling the fob out, while I'm still several car lengths away from the truck. Saves so much time, given how slowly the frunk & tailgate open.
