The sliding rear window has been an option for a while now on the XLT. My 21 doesnt have it and its much quieter than the 18 I had with sliding, and also the look is much nicer.
I would be more worried about the range when towing. My ICE gets about half the MPG when towing so the lightning my get what 80-90 miles between charges. This is a big NO for me.
You can thank the Teamsters Union for those delivery prices. Funny thing is delivery price is the same to deliver to a local dealer in Dearborn or a dealer in Hawaii.
For years there has been a code to delete exterior decals which I use all the time. Never heard of a note section, just shows dealers dont know what they are doing.
I laugh every time someone complains that Ford has not contacted them about their order. They act like Ford is supposed to reach out to tens of thousands of buyers and give them weekly updates. Scheduling can change day to day with part shortages and that's not going away any time soon. The...
I agree with you totally. We have a fleet of about 200 pickups in various sizes and EVs will not work for us due to the locations we work, there will be no charging available, Sure we could use our towable Cat gensets to charge but that's another step we dont need. Its more of a gimmick to say...
If you can find a dealer with any. They call them courtesy vehicles now a days, most of the time its managers that drive them or they can be loaners and sold at 4000 miles. My local dealer which is very big doesnt even have loaners for service anymore, no demos, no nothing. My rep said its to...
I have 20s on my 21 and also had them on the 18. Have driven trucks with both and cant feel any difference. Looks wise the 20s rock and 18s make it look like a cheap Chevy truck. You wont be unhappy with the 20s
This must not be part of the franchise agreement between Ford and the dealers otherwise it would be a moot point and easy to enforce. Since many dealer are just trying to stay open with no inventory to sell they have to ask more. Will be interesting to see if anything happens.
With a 7000# trailer you could have up to 1000# tongue weight, then add hitch weight and everything you put in the truck and you would be close or over payload. At 11000# you could have 1650# tongue weight. You need to hit the CAT scales to confirm weights. I have seen the tow package also list...
It may have the same footprint and maybe not. I transferred the bed mat from my 2018 to the 21 and had to do a lot of trimming in the corners to get it to fit. I was surprised how different the shape was.
