Mine is now out for delivery to my house in NJ.
The kick in the nuts is that I’m currently down in NC visiting relatives and would really have liked to have it for this trip. I’ve done this trip a lot so I know I’ll be fine with the EA stops along the route home but I’m really getting sick of...
Got the email. Order# 7963. Per Fedex will receive it Monday.
Probably just coincidental but seems a bunch of us in the high 7000s or so are getting them shipped.
I recently got the update to allow the EV routing and battery % communication. Like yours shows, the Battery % on arrival has replaced the "minutes until destination". This is driving me crazy. I know I can do the math in my head, but it still bothers me.
Is this annoying to anyone else...
I'm in the "it's great" camp.
Just finished a road trip from NJ to Denver and back. Probably had BlueCruise engaged for 80% of those miles. Definitely dramatically decreases driving fatigue.
The key for me is to recognize when it's more trouble than it's worth. Heavy truck traffic, curvy...
North Jersey here. I've seen dozens. Another guy in my building at work has literally the exact same trim/color as me and took delivery on the same day. Someone also drives an R1T in our building as well.
I was parked at a strip mall near work and had someone pull their Platinum right next...
This caused me to switch over to Apple Maps from my long-time usage of Google Maps.
Apple Maps is better than when I last used it many years ago. And thankfully, they added the ability to support multi-stop trips right as I was switching over. Crazy that they didn't have that feature previously.
Yeah, I've been charging to around 85% in Auburn to make sure I get home with some buffer so I don't have to worry about it the whole way.
I thought I might have to go up to around 90-95% on Friday to accommodate for colder temps, but the unseasonably warm snap we're having will make it a...
I'm from North Jersey but my son goes to school in Boston so I've made the round trip in my ER Lariat a bunch of times. Gonna do it again this Friday.
Always stop at the EA station at the Auburn Mall. The mall is a dump unfortunately, but if I stop both coming and going that's enough juice to...
Agreed completely. PAAK has been one of the very pleasant surprises for me with my Lightning. I knew I'd be getting it but never gave it much thought. Once I got it set up I haven't carried my keys since. Very liberating.
I was next to a Rivian at an Electrify America station during a recent road trip. It looked very nice, but made me glad to have the Lightning. Way too small for me. I'm a big dude so I really appreciate the space in the Lightning. Can't imagine going back to a smaller vehicle tbh.
Recently did a road trip from NJ to NC and back. Only used EA stations. I was finding that using 150kW chargers the max rate I'd see was around 110kW. Using the 350kW chargers the max rate I'd see was around 170kW.
Totally not a scientific test. Not at all a significant sample size. I also...
I've started having this problem this week. It switches to my profile if I have my fob on me, but I've decided to go strictly to PAAK. So if I remote start and then use PAAK it doesn't seem to switch to my profile.
Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?
This is what I did, too. And for the same reasons.
I haven't done a spray-in liner yet. I'm gonna let it go for 6 months or so and make the decision then if I really need one. If I decide I do, I guess I'll have to reach out to bedrug to get new velcro pieces to re-install.
The Lightning was the undisputed hit of the tailgate. Had a bunch of folks come to ask about it.
Had the blender plugged in to the Pro Power for frozen margaritas.
When I have some time tonight I’m going to write up my tailgating with the Lightning review.
Northeastern. Picked up him and his buddies to do a tailgate at Rutgers today and then another tailgate for the Jets tomorrow.
I’m a big fan of bad football.
Shipping them back up to Boston on a bus after the Jets. I don’t have another 10 hour trip in me.
Picked it up today! And then immediately embarked on a quick NJ to Boston roundtrip to pick my son up from school. Currently on the way back to NJ and charging at an EA station in CT.
Awesome so far!
You're at the same dealer as me.
I wouldn't be surprised if it gets to the dealer before the tracking sites update.
Happened to me and also to someone else at our dealer that was either an 8/15 or 8/22, I can't remember which.
Well whaddaya know.
Just got the call. Truck got to the dealership 45 minutes ago.
Still in "built" status on all of the tracking sites.
Hoping to get the paperwork done and pick it up tomorrow.
Wild.
