Where in MA are you? I'm in Boston (and haven't seen another Lightning around here.)

I'm from North Jersey but my son goes to school in Boston so I've made the round trip in my ER Lariat a bunch of times. Gonna do it again this Friday.

Always stop at the EA station at the Auburn Mall. The mall is a dump unfortunately, but if I stop both coming and going that's enough juice to get me home.

Much cheaper to charge in MA with the per minute rates than in is in CT or NY.

Wish I knew that MA was cheaper than NY and CT. Every year we do the reverse trip (to your son's Boston trip), when we head at 6 AM on Thanksgiving from Boston to Princeton (and back to Boston on Saturday.) I avoid NYC, taking 84 to 684 to 287. Because the 150 was loaded with people, luggage, and food, I planned on two stops, one in Manchester CT (Walmart) and one just west of the Cuomo bridge. I probably could have done just Auburn and then a stop in N. NJ.

Yeah, I've been charging to around 85% in Auburn to make sure I get home with some buffer so I don't have to worry about it the whole way.

I thought I might have to go up to around 90-95% on Friday to accommodate for colder temps, but the unseasonably warm snap we're having will make it a little easier.

FWIW, they just put in a brand new EA station in the Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus (North Jersey). I don't know how far out of your way that would take you, but you can def make it there from Auburn, MA.

My issues is EA two side stations right, so two plugs to support which side of the car your charging. I went for my first visit yesterday and twice people stopped my session lol... Both times Audi drivers saying they didn't know you could charge trucks. . .

This is exactly why I put the special EV plates on my Lightning. Just seeing in in an EV spot from afar, it’s not normal for people to think that it’s an EV, so the special plate hopefully helps them get over themselves.
