Yeah, with 1.22kW from the 3kWh I just wasn’t sure if the charger would adjust to the lower maximum or what would happen with the 10s ramp down from 1.9kw.
Would take 6x3kWh to overload the pro power when charging. Solark has flexibility as you can adjust amperage. I’m sure some others can too.
The initial shutoff was due to the battery/solar startup. When pro power was running and then the Enphase system started after, there is a spike when the preset startup time elapses. The instant that happens, the pro power shuts down. I ran the setup for 3 days at a trade show and that was the...
Yes if power goes out then you would need to change Enphase settings to zero export, make sure the change is complete, then make sure main grid is off (so when power comes back on it doesn’t feed the lightning), then connect pro power. You can also charge the lightning if there is extra solar...
Just going to post my testing results…
Lightning pro power works in tandem with Enphase battery backup during outage if you set the system to Zero export and have the battery backup/solar started prior to connecting the lightning. This worked with the lightning pro power connected to Enphase...
Yeah that was an odd reply…
I will throw in that my wife hit a ground hog and broke the air dam motors… not sure if this could be causing the fault?
I’ve been getting popups about this for a few days and went to test it out. Not working at all.
-Screen shows the frunk/interior/box. Frunk and box can hit power on but then after 2sec they go off. Interior power button is greyed out
-interior outlets are flashing orange for a fault. There is...
Have you been able to do this? I’d like to know if I can install a transfer switch between utility and the smart controller2. Then have a micro grid with the truck and enphase battery system/solar.
It should work fine and the truck will actually power the house, not just charge the batteries. The 11kwh of battery is useless unless you are worried about power being out and not having the truck there at the same time.
I was testing out my setup and it's nice to have a spare security camera to put on the truck's screen. Then you can instantly monitor your draw with your phone. The app sucks at updating propower info.
My shop has an existing neutral switching transfer switch with no ground. It has a nema 10-50 plug for the last owners generator. Do I need to add a ground or can I just get an adapter to nema 14-30?
With preconditioning I’ve been seeing just below 20% reduction at 32F. A good rule of thumb is to expect 0.5%/°F reduction in efficiency below 72F. Ford released no numbers; it just said range loss will occur. Every EV before the lightning loses 20-50%. Every ICE vehicle loses 10-20%. From this...
July 12-18 delivery window for me in Canada. Tracker just shows Built but called Ford Canada. Ford Pass has only shown it in a parking lot off site as of yesterday. Unable to locate currently 🤷‍♂️
