24+ emblem removal

I’m removing the emblems from a 24’ Platinum.
I’ve got the Lightning lettering off but does anybody know if the passenger side is anchored like the charge port cover on the drivers side?
Also, does anyone know of a black out kit for the charge port emblem?

To black out I would just plasti-dip. I did it on my suburban and it lasted 3 years until I sold it for my lightening. Looked great.

Does your ‘24 have the dummy charge port door or just the F150 emblem? I can’t remember what year that was changed but thought it was the ‘24s.

If the dummy door, it covers a large hole into the fender/wheel well area and the door is just retention clips and very easy to remove (they are just on the top while the bottom are just hooks).

I have no experience with just the F150 emblem, sorry.

Mine doesn’t have a dummy charge door. So it should just be an emblem right?

Yes but I am unsure if there is a hole/cutout behind the emblem…would need others to chime in with experience.

Would be simple to plasti-dip/blackout, if left on though.

There are holes in the passenger fender behind the emblem.

Thanks, will the emblem just pop off after heating for removal? If so, I think I’ll just plasti-dip and re-install.

You will find it much simpler to dip the emblem while attached vs removing, dipping then reattaching it. Dip comes off paint so easily, no reason to remove it.

It has snaps and tape behind it. It would be easier to dip it in place, like has been stated before.
