I'm sure this will be controversial, but I had to try it! I combined the 2" Rough Country level kit with the 1.25" RC rear drop. 😱

I dislike any rake, and was never happy with only having 3/4" level up front. Plus the new tires needed a bit more lift due to the 6mm offset.

305/55r20 Nitto Terra Grappler G3s on 20x9.5 +6mm Vision Tactical wheels. Very minor trim on the front air dam.

Tires seem very good and quiet. Wish the wheels were a +25mm offset, but I'm getting used to the poke.

Overall, I like the look so far with no payload. Obviously there will be some squat if I load it up. Interested to see how it does with a weight distribution hitch and my trailer. Might actually tow fairly level. If not, I'll consider bringing the rear back to stock height.

Thanks. I don't drive on the highway very often, so it may be a while before I can tell. Circumference is the same with the 305/55s, so no speedo correction.

I'm guessing it'll be the typical 10-15% hit, due to the added weight and rolling resistance. The G3s roll quietly, however, and are about the lightest AT tire out there, so I think it'll be better than any true off-road all terrain or E-rated LT tire.

Looks great! Is there any rubbing with those larger tires?

No rubbing! I proactively trimmed about 1/2" off the back edge of the air dam, which took about 30 seconds and gives a little extra room when turning.

Do you think it would've rubbed if you didn't trim it?

I have a 2" front level and am trying to judge how large of a tire I can go without rubbing or trimming.

It may just barely make contact to the back of the air dam at one point when turning near full lock, due to the 6mm offset on the 9.5" wheels. If you run something like a 25mm offset, you should have plenty of room with this tire size. I think stock wheels with 44mm offset would work too.

I was opposed to any trimming, but the air dam trim was easy, and still looks clean / not noticeable.

Hey OP, sorry, off topic, but what model Leer cap do you have? (Also, your truck looks great!) Thanks.
