Simply that I did not experiance any unusual behavior below 10%.

Calibration is part of the reason for doing this. After driving it down I charged to 100% since I was driving a bit more the next day. Unfortunately I was unable to let it rest between finishing the drive and starting the charge to 100%.

In general I would have felt comfortable driving more miles as well.
The key is consecutive DCFC sessions. The more sessions, the more off the SOC/GOM was.

I personally found that my first leg was accurate. The second leg after a DCFC was off by about 3-5%, and each subsequent leg about the same error. At one point I kept myself from going below 15% SoC.

It sounds scary, but we’re talking 3-4 DCFCs in addition to the initial charge. Not many folks are driving 600-800miles in one shot like I was..

Hauling a Sled, 440 miles, head winds, through the steep terrain of Lake Superior North-Shore...chargers are in groups all about 60 miles appart, and I figured the GOM has been pretty accurate from my experience...so go ahead and skip a charging spot and go on to the farthest one, while driving 70mph...
View attachment IMG_7643.pdf The first charger was out of service, but an alternate a couple miles later was operational...this was the closest to "emtpy" I have ever done. GOM was very accurate in predicting I would arrive with 15km range (to the first charger that was not working!)
