Thanks. Will look at that rack, though having 1800 dollars of yakima makes me think i’ll keep them and move on it can no get this cover to fit.

i did follow the directions. The front can only snug up but so far to front of bed. Not a complicated process but must be missing something to seal the cover.

No pare instructions and the linked instructions show taking one apart then putting back in. Not ideal to view on a phone but not overly complicated either.

let me know if have any real install tips or i’ll just box it up for return and call it a day. (Again, bad on me for listening to a guy that said he sold these covers But not reason i would return it. The fit is.)

What do you mean bad on you for listening to a guy that said he sold these covers?

I don't quite understand. You did not buy the cover from me. Even if you had contacted me, prior to even selling it to you I would have told you that this cover is NOT compatible with your Yakima Rack.

So again I'm not quite sure what your last comment meant?

That comment had nothing to do with you. Someone else. Dont be so jumpy, not blaming you but i Did buy from RealTrucks Amazon store.

You keep trying to make points on the Yakima rack issue, forget the rack , i’ll worry about that and now not the issue.

Why is there such a gap and show me or a tech guy if need be get back to me , the procedure for aligning the front of the cover so water does Not pour in. It seems like if front molding wider it would cover the gap.

Again. You are confusing me for ReaTruck. I do not work at RealTruck. You bought the cover from them, not me...

Your cover is not installed properly. You need to follow the instructions. But real quick..

1) Your foam seal is not on correctly. It needs to be on the edge of the bed, towards the rear of the truck on that edge. You have it too far forward towards the cab. That is why you have a gap in there and water will get in there. The foam will sit UNDER the rails in the corners...

2) The rear of the cover (by the window) need to sit on top of that foam gasket

3) You need to leave the clamps OFF until you sit the cover properly on the truck. You need to bring the cover all the way back and then close it... you WILL touch the lift gate on the truck against the cover.. you want that. You're actually going to end up PUSHING the cover as you close the lift gate.

4) Now re-open the tailgate. Pull the cover back about 1/8". PUT PRESSURE ON THE COVER and close the truck bed. It should close and sit under the cover.

5) Drop the tailgate and roll-up the cover WITHOUT allowing it to shift. Install your clamps. DO NOT overtighten the clamps.

Now you'll have a proper installation.

no worries, sending back anyway as not dealing with this angry nonsense.
Not confusing you with Amazon..just logical to me if your “Realtruck” on here its reasonable to ask a question in a product sold by “Realtruck”.

thanks for info but you must not have installed one as only so far you can push the cover towards the front. If you look on the bogus directions the foam is to the front of that rail, not towards rear.

Again I Am NOT RealTruck. You keep calling me RealTruck lol.

I install hundreds upon hundreds of these a year... almost daily we install these covers. Especially with F150s since I know them inside and out.

Your foam is not installed properly. your cover is not sitting properly. The foam needs to sit UNDER the rails and must be placed on the inside EDGE of the trucks rail lip. I tried to help you but it's clear you are confused somehow still.

I'd recommend find a local dealer in your area that you can buy a cover from and have professionally installed
