Or at least give us the option to buy extended warranty on the high voltage batteries and service. To my knowledge, the extended service plans do not include the high voltage powertrain batteries.

The packs are designed to be highly serviceable and are relatively conservative thermally in terms of charging. Ford could and should stand behind these longer for the owners that supported them, especially in light of the cancellation, paid option as one pathway that makes sense.

Even if they don't the module cost is preposterous. Batteries don't cost this much, and labor is minimal.

The Ford ESP does not include the battery. IIRC, there was a person on here that said he bought a 3rd party one that did.
