CarPlay - Last used app

I’ve had the truck for two years and never had this issue until now. Previously when I got into the truck, the Apple Music app would load onto the screen, but now lately, it is loading the screen which shows all apps. The music still starts automatically playing, but now I have to click into the app. Anyone know how to fix this? I’ve restarted my phone and rebooted the infotainment Screen, neither did anything. Anyone have any ideas?

Probably, but it seems there should be a way to revert back to automatically opening the last app that was open.

They relocated some apps with a recent OTA update, that's probably what you are observing.

• Replaced the Display Brightness Slider with +/- buttons to make it easier to use on your drive.

• A new map view has been added, allowing you to visibly search for nearby chargers and quickly see what's available.

AM Broadcast Radio• AM broadcast radio is now available for listening through your audio system and can be controlled just like FM or SiriusXM channels. This gives you even more flexibility in how you can access your favorite sports, talk and news content - including receiving Emergency Alert System notifications.
