Watched a few of his vids, he doesn't have any more information than us and is just guessing.

That said, of course some are going to be delayed. Ford has too many reservations and not enough production capacity.

Ive watched that guy's videos for lack of anything else relating to the lightning... I think he's trying to start his channel, they're not exactly great videos, and he's looking for catchy things to get viewers. He was all over the 12,500 tax credit, and the house passing the BBB bill, even though they've already passed it with different revisions before and will likely have several more iterations. Take what he says with a grain of salt.

I don't know where the tidbit about delaying consumer Pro / XLT trims is coming from. It would make sense for Ford to do this, but it's far from official news.

If you watch the video he says he is guessing that this could be a possibility. So no, this is not true. And tbh the title is full on clickbait.

He's just a guy that's interested in the truck trying to start a channel and I'll watch his vids occasionally but I thought this one was over the top clickbait.

Like all news, if you aren't sure if it's true, look for multiple sources that confirm the same thing (that aren't made up bullshit sites.)

Most expensive Mustang Mach-E trim came last, not first.
Only in the GT sense, the Premium Extended Range RWD and AWD were the first and most expensive, delivered and majority produced. Some time the simplest and most logical answer is correct. By shipping the cars with the most options, the car mfg gets all the components into the market place earlier for testing and gets the maximum revenue. Similar to Tesla with the famous/infamous $35k Model 3. Tesla made as few as possible to avoid trouble with regulations and concentrated on most fully equipped first to the point of dropping the low end models altogether.

Premiums, Selects, and CA Rt1, all started shipping from the very beginning. I actually had 2 orders. A Premium EX RWD and a more expensive 1st Edition. Both were built the same week. The Premium showed up at the dealer a week early. So the notion that Ford prioritized more expensive versions is utter nonsense. Even now, it takes more time to get Premium or GT than Select or CA Rt1:

You really should refrain from expressing opinions that are not based on facts.

First shipped was Extended Range RWD but the key is overall produced and sold. Car mfgs stick to the basics, more options out there for testing, more revenue, more orders for higher end models.

Fleet sales are 15% of the market, hard to see any mfg concentrating on its smallest, least profitable market.

Stop making stuff up! If what you say was even remotely true, there wouldn't even be a select trim of MME.

His videos are a perfect example of why you should believe everything you read and see on the internet (very heavy sarcasm intended). He intentionally creates sensational and misleading titles for his videos to increase their visibility as he is well aware that Youtube algorithms are biased in that manner.

I would argue some of us have, MORE/better educated info than him at this point.
