cone seat lug nuts - is no-bulge OK?

I bought a McGard lug nut kit but didn't realize that they are the no-bulge type. The difference is less contact area (thus higher contact pressure?) with the wheel. I have OEM wheels and don't plan to change them.

Should I return these and get the bulge nuts?

My understanding is the conical will not have as much surface contact with the Lightning factory wheels since they are designed for bulge. Considering the weight, horsepower and torque of the Lighting, I personally wouldn't pick anything but what is recommended. Gorilla makes some wheel locks that are bulge. You can plug your truck model into their website.

I would definitely return them and get bulge ones. Not worth the risk imo
