Did mine today bought the gorilla spline lock lugs

Costco swapped off my snows today, and he strongly recommended getting a new set of non oem lugs, for all the reasons mentioned here.

I’m glad he did, I never would have known.

i bought the chrome gorilla ones, thinking that matched the existing ones.

do I have that right, do Lariat wheels come with chrome or black lugs?

I don’t have the truck with me, or I’d go and check myself

Mine were chrome. The black matches the center cap though.

I got mine swapped out by Costco today with a tire rotation, with the chrome gorillas…

they definitely stick way further out then the originals… (and a little less “shiny”)

hopefully won’t impact my range !
But safer from the swelling dilemma of what was there I suppose…..

Gorilla “OEM” style acorn nuts are perfect if you want something that’s one piece and looks identical to the OEM ones with a large seating surface. Also are available in chrome. We will see how they do on rust long term.

Anyone see any gray lugs? Amazon has them but they all have bad reviews.
