Well here is the latest from my sales man. I was a priority 1 but now it shows balance out. He said he may have to convert it to a MY23. He said that's what he had to do with e-Transit when this happened. Still waiting to hear back from Emma

If they are balancing out all remaining orders then they should not have had a wave 7. For there to be any wave one or two orders that get carried over to 2023 then it is a big problem for Ford. If it is a dealer allocation issue, why were these orders not the first ones scheduled for that dealer? It may not make a difference to Ford, but it is significant to the future owners that did not get scheduled. Let's just hope there is more 2022 scheduling this week or next week.

Will pricing be honored and will there be some extra credit for the phasing out tax credit. With a 2022 order delivery should be in 2022.

I wouldn't count on anything for the Tax credit, there is no guarantee that all 2022 builds will be delivered in 2022 anyways.

Here was the response from Emma Bergg:
"So I just basically heard the same thing. Supply chain delays have meant some extended range trucks have been delayed. You are currently prioritized which means when scheduling picks up in the coming weeks you should get a build date soon. Team is on it I assure you! Sorry not concrete confirmation but hopefully you / we’ll here good news soon! Thank you for your patience."

I responded asking if there are supply chain delays why later orders are being built before earlier orders. Also asked about being pushed to a MY23. Will update when I get a response.

There never has been. The allocation system is random and illogical. I hate to say it, because I love my dealership, but I blame the dealer council. If it wasn't for them, orders would be built in reservation order.

I don't know if this is accurate, there are still ZEV states and non-ZEV states which impacts production. With Tesla, production is a crapshoot as well and they don't have much of a dealer network. People who paid for $80k Model S refresh got theirs after others who paid $100k when the price was bumped up at a later date, there was quite a bit of uproar by those who were made to wait.

Is it common when assinged a build date to not get an e-mail from Ford? Last Friday online they assigned me a build date but I never received a confirmation e-mail. I've been getting updates all along before this so they have my correct e-mail.

So basically no further info than we already know lol. Curious what she says about your balance out issue

There is no good excuse IF they balance out the rest of the unscheduled 2022 orders. If they were taking all orders that dealers could physically submit and had a customer for, then there would be many more orders than they could build. However with the reservation system that they have where they control the number of actual orders, if they have extra orders that need to be balanced out then they as bad as the airlines (selling tickets and cancelling flights that they know they don't have the staff to properly staff).

I can see that as a valid reason. We have seen supply chain issues with specific colors before (Mach-e).
