I was lucky enough to get the very last CCF-T console fridge they had at Summit Racing earlier this winter. I just haven't installed it until tonight.
First thing was removing the top 7mm screw in the console cupholder, then popping the rear facia off.
The next step was removing the 12v power connector. This is why I HATE wrenching on new cars. I spent more than 45 minutes trying to get this POS off, and busted it in the process. Looked up a YouTube video where the guy just pops it off with his fingers like it was nothing! Had me steaming. Every time I wrench on some new car, 2/3 of the time is spent fiddeling with these POS connectors. FFS! /Rant
I drilled the hole for the power cord with a step bit instead of a hole saw drill bit.
The hole for the fan I did use a hole saw drill bit.
And then installed the fan.
Installed the power cord to the rear console. Also the rubber inserts below the lid was installed.
The bottom of the console lid had to come off to make room for the fridge to be installed.
Then it the fridge was dropped in and snug down with the clamp screws.
The rear wires was not done messing with me. There was no way the 12v power was gonna reach the fridge contact. So I had to cut open the tape to make it reach.
Luckily I had a roll of that tape type.
Got it all tape up and plugged in.
All done!
Also, I found these plastic pieces inside the air ducts for the rear console vents. Got them out. Something to look for if you're ever back there.
This is where the plastic pieces were. There was some in the other vent too, but I didn't get all of it out.
