I know it doesn't seem like much. I had 32 railroad ties at 225lbs equals 7200lbs, plus the featherlite trailer at almost 2000lbs. I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I am with the performance of this truck, both towing and not towing. I traded a 2009 superduty in and I was very worried about the towing aspect. I am very pleasantly surprised. It didn't really squat too bad either. I don't have the trailer towing pack. 5.0 with 3.73 gears.

That's a decent amount of weight for a 1/2 Ton to tow well. I know its shy of the max capabilities, but 10 years ago 10k lbs would be a lot of weight for an F150 to tow.

I'm impressed with this truck. I haven't actually towed it yet, just set up the WD hitch but I expected more sag.

I'm going to be interested to see how my Reg Cab Short Bed handles my 8000lb Cat.

I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to be hauling that much weight and if it's too squirrelly, I won't but since Ford's VIN calculator is dead I'm just going to have to hook it up and see.
