Hey all, trying to run FORScan on a virtual machine on my MacBook. From what I've read this should be possible but I"m getting an error after downloading FORScan.

The error I'm getting is:
OS: Workstation, No ServicePack
CPU: Virtual CPU , Unknown, MMX @ 3166 MHz

Module name: C:\Program Files (x86)\FORScan\FORScan.exe

Anyone know how to fix this so I can launch the program? Thanks!

Do you have Wine installed? Wine is needed to run Windows programs on Mac systems. Not sure how that works when on a vm.

From my understanding it's and issue with the drivers. I found one post where someone was able to get it to work but I was not able to get it working myself. I only own Macs so I ended up picking up a really cheap laptop on market place just for FORScan.

I was able to get it up and running, had to change compatibility and emulation settings and then run the program as an administrator. FORScan up and running but now my bluetooth OBD connector is corrupted during firmware update and can't get it to reset. Guess I'll be returning and changing to a wired connection this time..Hopefully get back at this tomorrow

How exactly did you get it to run on Parrallels? I have the exact same error message.
