After seeing an estimated range of over 350 miles while charging to 100% I decided to see if the GOM ever settles down to a reasonable estimate. Readings were taken every 5% of battery consumed. This was mostly 55-60 mph county roads, two longer drives and then some running around so trip meter efficiency jumps around some.

Background - Efficiency over the last 5,000 miles shows 2.1 mi/kwh. Previous drive before charging to 100% was a 1hr 70mph run, estimated to be about 2-2.1 mi/kwh.

BLUF - At 100% GOM estimated around 2.64 mi/kwh, that was down to 2.4mi/kwh by 70% battery. Sadly this is inconclusive, my driving probably wasn't far off the 2.4 it eventually settled down to.

SOC (%)GOM (mi)Energy (kwh)Est Eff (mi/kwh)Voltage (v)Trip Eff (mi/kwh)
100347131.52.64391-

802641072.473782.4
752431002.433721.7
70223932.403702.1

*Although 353 miles were observed immediately after it reached 100% that was down to 347mi by the time it sat for ~2 hours and I pulled it around from the garage.

2nd round.

Above 85% I have a hard time believing those efficiency numbers (and the GOM), but below that they seem to align fairly good with what would be normal for the drives I was doing.

In watching the GOM numbers it appeared that the GOM was tracking a reasonably short term average. When slowing from 60mph county roads to 35 in town the GOM went up slightly. This is also observed from 55% to 50% where there is a smaller decrease in range. This was due to slower speeds and turning off the AC.
