I have a 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning, and I have Handsfree Bluetooth Call Quality Issues. There are two different issues noticed:

1st Issue: I'm in a call (maybe talking for 10 to 20 mins) then I can't hear the Caller anymore, but he/she can hear me. It appears that we got disconnected, but not really since they can hear me. I usually have to hang up then call the person back to continue my call.

2nd Issue: I'm talking in a Handsfree Bluetooth Call when the voice / sound of the person I'm talking with gets garbled, unintelligible and very mechanical. It is sooo bad, I can't understand them, so I usually have to hang up and then call them back. Note: Using the same iPhones (iPhone 14s with the latest software), I never have any Handsfree Bluetooth call issues when I'm using my son's Hyundai Accent. Thus, it is not an iPhone issue. There is definitely some EMF / noise / sound interference issues happening. Since it works fine for usually 10 to 20/30 mins, maybe something is getting hot in the APIMs board??? Or something in this EV truck is broadcasting EMF messing up the cell signal or BT signal? I spent a lot of money buying my new Ford F-150 Lightning, and the Handsfree Bluetooth Call feature should work flawlessly! I've seen other posts on this topic, so I know that I'm not the only one having these problems. BTW: The Dealership does not diagnose any Bluetooth, or communication, problems and cannot fix these issues. Really frustrated with these issues.

I have had both of these issues happen. I seem to have it happen when I haven't played back some audio from the device since starting the truck.

However, I use primarily a Pixel 7 Pro with Android Auto, and I've had luck just toggling away from car audio to speaker, and back to the car audio, no need to hang up.

I have the same issues. Happens regularly but totally randomly. I find that transfering to call audio to my phone then back to the truck fixes it temporarily.

I've had it happen on three generations of the Samsung Z Flip.

I had this problem with my 23 as well... seemed to be tied to the charging pad... solved it by moving the phone to the slot next to the cup holders when I'm on a call and haven't had a problem since.. solved both of the above problems.

My 2023 Ford F-150 Lightning XLT does not have a charging pad, so this suggestion will not be able to solve my problem. I will try moving my phones into the cup holder or close to it.

Around here, those symptoms occur when the cell phone changes over towers ...
