Mine got stuck momentarily once when I did the fold down so I could open the worktop and have lunch. Luckily it responded when I tried the button to lift it again after several attempts. But it was then that I ordered the rotary shifter from a Ford escape which I now keep as a backup in the truck. From videos I’ve seen of people doing this modification, it take about 8 minutes to swap it out if you keep a few tools in the truck.
