How to disable high mount brake light?

I have an XLT and need to put a truck camper to the bed. Due to not having enough clearance, I need to remove the high mount brake housing. Since I have the brake in the camper already, I don't really need it. Another good thing to remove the light is there will be no brake light reflected back to the cab.

My concern is the system may alert me the brake light is not functioning. Is there a way to disable the alert? Or connect something to the plug and make the system think the brake light is working?
