Is anyone else experiencing excessive ice buildup underneath the truck between the front wheels?
It's so bad that the truck is making noises when we try to make turns. This is mostly road slush that gets kicked up and gets stuck underneath the truck and then freezes into a solid mass.

This is after taking it through a carwash. We do not have a garage available to park it in to warm up.
Spring is here now, so for this year it probably won't matter much as the temps are above freezing daily. But is there anything we can do for next year?
Without the ICE engine, this area stays cold and I don't want it to get so bad as to make it a safety hazard.

Perhaps a visit to a hot water car wash?

Golden Nozzle, Flash Car Wash, and Friendly Car Wash

Ya, it can build up all over the place. Don't try knocking it out, there are sensitive components in there. It will melt out eventually.

This was after a Golden Nozzle visit. We may have to visit a manual one where we can just aim the spray nozzle underneath there for a few minutes.

That is a tough one. Obviously, it's slushy when driving and then freezes solid overnight or maybe during the drive? It's not fun to crawl under and wisk some away when it's not fully frozen, especially for me anyway since flexibility diminishes with time. If it were me, I would try my best to find a friend or generous, charitable, sympathizing, pitying individual that may have a warm vacant spot in a shed for those few times a year? And then maybe let that person take it for a quick ride for the barter. :) As long as you are riding with them.

Yes, before our cursed early spring here in Oregon, we had a pretty long stretch were it didnt get above freezing, and I had some heavy ice buildup underneath - it caused some interesting creaking and popping noises when turning. Went away as soon as it melted.

Would (could) the cracking and popping noises be bad? Could they impact safety (limit turning, or anything else?)
I don't have anything to put the truck up on so I can look underneath, and I have no idea what moving elements are in those two areas.

I did not notice any restrictions on turning, or any other parameter - everything seemed pretty normal except for the (slightly annoying) noises.
