Hi

21 F150 Lariat with all the bells/whistles, lane keeping and alert.

Here is the issue, if I change to ALERT only it still keeps steering me. Even after restarting.

But now it seems like the ALERT IS NOT vibrating the steering wheel anymore.

The AID seems to not turn off.

I hope this isn't an issue. I have not done an update, but maybe I should. Truck is brand new, picked up this week, 200 miles, Powerboost, FX4, shortbed, supercrew, Lariat High 502A and I love it so far.

Wait, alert is supposed to vibrate the wheel? Hmm, I set mine to alert and aid, but I haven’t noticed it vibrate. My last car vibrated, so I’m familiar with it. I’ll check on the way home from work, got me curious now. Maybe it’s the difference of having cruise “on” but not active vs having cruise completely off?

Check the settings, as I remember there are three settings for vibrate feature

YES I figured it out, AND I NEVER changed the settings but on adaptive cruise it was set to lane centering and that caused all the problems.
