Lightning Scheduling Weeks Question

I have notice on the ICE forums that they post every week with what model lines Ford is scheduling the following week. This week, they were scheduling for the F-150's for production weeks of 5/16 and I noticed that some ICE members had received VINs and production weeks this morning.

The big question is does the Lightning follow the F-150 scheduling? I haven't seen posts of people getting scheduled, just people being moved around.

I assume with this being a new model that there so far hasn't been much rhyme or reason to scheduling? Do we know when the next batch of scheduling will drop? (Obviously I've become impatient waiting for my Wave 2 order to be scheduled LOL)

Lightning has not followed F150 ICE scheduling at all. Lightning scheduling has not been published (that we have seen).

The first two batches of Lightning scheduling happened on a Thursday just like other models. Then the last batch of Lightning scheduling happened on a Tuesday.

Until the past few months, Ford would send out emails to order holders on the day their vehicle was scheduled. You would get the email within a few minutes/hours of when your scheduling info populated in the backdoor tracker. However, the past few months, the "you have been scheduled" emails have been delayed for weeks or months after the backdoor tracker was updated and VIN issued.

I suspect Ford has delayed the official email communication because of the production scheduling problems they are facing. It is easier to wait to tell a customer their vehicle is scheduled than to send them multiple delay update emails.

Our Lightning reservation/orders show up different on the Ford account because of the online ordering. So we have a direct link to the backdoor tracker. Orders input by a Ford dealer do not get that same access hence the name "backdoor tracker" I don't think Ford has figured out the difference between sending out notification emails and the direct access to the "backdoor tracker".

isn't the "backdoor tracker" just the same page you get when you log into your account and select reservation? The web address is exactly the same.
