That's what I'm thinking of doing, but will drive thru car washes possibly tear that wrap off? That's my concern. I'm not looking/thinking of repainting because it will just chip again. So I'm leaning towards wrap or maybe rhino liner/Line-x. I saw someone that had theirs line-x'd here and it looks like it was over sprayed so I'm afraid of that too. I say over sprayed because where all the dimples/diamond designs were looked more flat from the spray.

I have 3m chrome vehicle wrap on the FORD letters of a fraptor grille on my 2013 F 150, it's seen nothing but auto car washes since day 1 without harm. They've since dulled a little bit but they've also seen the sun since day 1 and it's been at least 5 or 6 years since I applied them.

Cool, thanks for sharing all the details RLXXI. That's what I was thinking too that I'd need to replace it a couple after a while. Which it sounds just having the wrap and it dulling a little is still better than what all the platinums are seeing with peeling/chipping.
