Stock tires or non directional tires should go front tires to the rears on the same side, cross the rear tires to the front. If you have directional tires, it should be front to back, back to front, on the same side with no crossing.

That being said, I've always done the front to back on the same side for years and always had good overall tire wear. Keeping your tires inflated accordingly is more important imo.

Can't imagine why anyone would ask AI how to rotate their tires. That rotation is NOT correct.

Manual is quite clear.

The fronts are crossed to the backs, and the backs are brought forward.

I did find this in the small manual and followed it. At 13k, my tread depths were 7/32 for the front and 9/32 for the rear with slightly more on front outer edges. I did have to retrain TPMS to get wheels to be recognized in appropriate positions.

BTW: I posted the tire info to Ford Service History for my vehicle via Ford Pass.

Original Tire Location
Front Left - 7/32 to RR
Front Right - 7/32 to LR
Right Rear 9/32 to RF
Left Rear - 9/32 to LF
