NEMA 14-50 Outdoor Box

I installed a 14-50 outlet on the outside wall of our camp. Then I attached a board to a shortened stop sign pole next to It. I mounted a Juicebox 40 amp charger (locked to the bracket) to the board and plugged it into the 14-50 outlet - which is also locked. I made a cover out of Sunbrella fabric that goes over the charger - even though it’s weather proof. When I’m not at the camp, I turn off the circuit breaker so it can’t be used.

Your brave leaving your Juicebox outside when you’re not there. I keep my Evse inside when I’m not there.
A pipeline was being installed local to the camp, the owner was glad to have the business . Campers were getting broken into and the really nice cabins she rented were just destroyed. That Juicebox would be easy money for a thief.

Our area has had little/no theft over the past many years - chairs taken off of docks. And I can put the Juicebox inside If were not going to be around for extended periods.
