Options Removed (chip shortage)

I was told my truck would ship without the heated steering wheel too, and it turns out it's due to limited chip availability caused by delays in silicon wafer processing. It’s crazy how something that small holds up so much. The dealer said they might retrofit it later once supplies catch up, but no promises yet. I’m just hoping they honor the missing features or offer a credit.

This was a really old thread about the '22's. Are you saying you've been told there is a chip shortage now on a 2025 order? if so that is nothing but mismanagement of the supply chain by Ford. Sad, but at their size you know they can do better.
